Greg Craven (that's me!), the creator of "The Most Terrifying Video" never intended to write a book. It just sort of happened. All as a result of the two-year back-and forth I've had with the YouTube community about this video and its follow up marathon "How It All Ends."

So now "What's the Worst That Could Happen? A Rational Response to the Climate Change Debate" is available from Amazon and other sellers through the links at www.gregcraven.org, as well as your local bookstore (I hope!).

Check it out if you're intrigued by the argument in this video.

----------

THE REASON THE COMMENTS ARE CLOSED ON THIS VIDEO is that most of the criticisms of what's presented here have been addressed by the bruisingly thorough 7-hour How It All Ends video project, the discussion is happening over there. I spent months combing through literally tens of thousands of critical comments to find every single objection, criticism, "Yeah but," and "You missed a spot" that I could to this video.

You might find the results interesting, and hopefully, helpful: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=92EE5DBE2987982F

You can post comments there. But to tell the truth, the conversation has moved even farther along, since the criticisms to those videos gave rise to the book, which now has its own discussions going at http://www.manpollo.org/forums/index.php.

  • @Nightversionn And just HOW is it that TOURISM is going to fix the problem of the POOR PEOPLE burning wood, because they can't afford anything else. After all? The story STARTS OUT saying?

ABSENCE of renewable energy in place of fuel wood? And exactly WHAT renewable energy should replace that fire wood? IF THEY ARE ALREADY TOO POOR TO AFFORD ANYTHING ELSE?

COAL maybe? Elephant dung? MAYBE a huge new solar array? THAT's WHY the TOURISM is that actual center of this article.

  • @Nightversionn Meanwhile, the minister for Natural Resources and Tourism, Ezekiel Maige led the tour of members of the Parliamentary Standing Committee, Natural Resources and Environment to visit the historical sites in Bagamoyo.

"Road linking Tanga and Dar es Salaam passing through Bagamoyo will be constructed to open the coastal zone for more tour activities", said Maige.

Imagine that? A GLOBAL WARMING story centered around TOURISM??

  • @Nightversionn Addressing a session, Norwegian Ambassador to Tanzania, Miss Ingunn Klepsvik said:

"Norway will cooperate with Tanzania to face the challenge of climate change, we allocated US Dollar 83 million for the cooperation for five years," she added.

And the "FINAL ANSWER" they came up with?

    Do everything possible to promote??????

    TOURISM.

  • @Nightversionn "Deforestation is a big challenge in fighting climate change, people are not able to use renewable energy because they are poor, the only source of energy they can afford is wood which destroys environment", said Salula.

Hmmm? SO? NOW poor people are the causes of AGW? HEY! It's AFRICA! Let's just give then a few trillion dollars and that will fix everything. RIGHT?

    AND!

  • @Nightversionn Ahhh? Wonders of wonders/ ANOTHER story from? The Global Warming News Site? And this time you didn't even TRY to claim it was from Reuters??

The Permanent Secretary, Environment, Vice President's Office, Sazi Salula made the observation in Bagamoyo on Saturday at the Climate Change Workshop...

A VERY interesting story indeed. As were the various comments and observations made within it?

    Such as?

  • More evidence/impacts of climate change series..

(Please read article before the denier with all the sock puppet accounts censors it)..

    .

Renewable energy needed to replace fuel wood, Tanzanian minister says

    .

The absence of renewable energy in place of fuel wood has accelerated deforestation which in turn has contributed to climatic changes currently being felt all over the world, according to a Tanzanian minister of the environment.

  • I got here from worming...

  • I was watching worming by jstustudios and somehow ended up here..... Was i the only one who couldnt watch the video and gave up after 1 minute no offense

  • And George Soros is heavily investing in NATURAL GAS, and systems to convert trucks to burn it instead of diesel. So WHY THEN has the environmental progressive left named T Boone Picket as WRONG for trying to promote it? AH? YES! I understand. T Boone is a CONSERVATIVE. Therfore he MUST BE WRONG. BUT? IF T Boone is wrong to promote Natural gas. What about Warren Buffet and George Soros? Who are being called saviors by the LEFT? They are all promoting natural gas and oil? Hmmm?
