Asked by a Tea Party person what government department or agency might he first abolish, Peter Schiff acknowledged that he might feel like a kid in a candy store. Republican Schiff, running for Senate on a promise to shrink governent and abide by the Constitution, had over a hundred Tea Party Patriots in awe Saturday afternoon, March 6, 2010, as he fielded 30 questions during a nonstop three hour and thirty minute economic performance. Schiff appeared to be delighted from time to time that he was speaking to a group that understood his economic warnings.

  • The federal government has already done severe damage pumping up the prices of just about anything they got their hands into. Trying to reduce the addictions of people who have become dependent on mooching off of other people's money will be very hard. Not doing so will be disastrous.

  • Hopefully he will give state education the axe first.

  • 2nd that. well put.

  • Well put. Keep it real, stang.

  • I always loved the motto of Republicans "Party of non-government involvement" Probably the most DISINGENUOUS stmt ever in American History...a polician from a political party who states we don't like government. It's the weird unexplained infatuation you have that you can't get rid of....kind of like me as a kid with that girl on that TV Show Small Wonder...I totally had the hots for her, tried to keep telling myself that wasn't right.

  • amen brother.

  • we need a 20% cut in federal employee pay

  • Would it be possible to compromise by reducing the size of the unnecessary departments? Of course, there will be always opposition from those who are layed off. But maybe that army of losers can be reduced, or enlarged slowly, not at once?

  • sweet

  • This guy can get sh it done!!!!!

    I'm a supporter
