the same happens to me...i discover the tune of little big planet of him, is wonderfull the melody (i don't like the vocals)...and when i searched for the instrument that he was playing i feel shocked (in a good way) that something like that exists, its amazing the kora...the melodies he plays with them...is just wonderful..

When I started learning about the Kora and Toumanni Diabate I just though of him as another project to be done for class. I was severely mistaken. One of the best african, if not the one of the best, music artists of his and my time.
