Regarding "breeders of pigs" its an actual fact that there are kibbutznikim who breed pigs in the state today (despite limited government opposition to such) If someone calls a mechalel shabbos just that, is he a sonei yisroel? But more important than all that answer me a general question. Can leading rabbinical authorities defend orthodox judaism from corrupting authorities? I am not asking if chabad is that bit is judaism a do it yourself project of can it have guidelines? Can we be critical of reform or "jews" for jesus?
