Bullocks to the critics. This song, and every other one, are awesome. If you don't like the track of "The Final Cut" you have no soul, your entire family hates you, and you can't figure out what that "THING" is on your back. Love ya Rog.

They just don't write music like they used to, do they. Full of feeling and emotion, and that sax at the end is a touch that is hard to replicate. Written when music was made popular because of TALENT, not because MTV force-feeds it down the throat of the masses. It's sad but true, video really did kill the radio star. It sucks to be older but, from a musical standpoint, I'm glad I grew up when I did and was able to see the bands that I saw - in their prime and when they were hungry.

@Seattlecarnut what?????? its understandable if you like this album alot but how can you claim it as the best PF album?? you really like it better than Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Wish You Were Here and Animals? what about Meddle, Obscured by Clouds, or Atom Heart Mother? and there are a few others before that, too...

@699smooth Roger's fans aren't "this" or "that". there are all sorts of Waters fans. ANYWAY i'm more of a Pink Floyd fan...i'm not really into Roger's solo stuff...people of all ages, races, and gender are fans of him. i am an american 18 year old for example and i know a 60 year old Austrian guy who is a big Floyd fan, and we are very different but share good music taste.
