Window Girl

This was my first 16 mm student film project with sound synced to mag tape. The music is "Dance Cadaverous" by Wayne Shorter. Enjoy. WINDOW GIRL DRAFT 3 BY DREW THOMAS Starring Joshua Hickerson, Josie Brooks and Jodee Bruce FADE IN: EXT. PARK - DAY THE BOY is sitting on a rock wall. He sees WINDOW GIRL walking along the path. THE BOY remembers something. DISSOLVE TO: EXT. NEIGHBORHOOD - EVENING THE BOY is standing just beyond the moonlight, smoking a cigarette. Suddenly a glow appears in the house behind him. WINDOW GIRL is framed like a painting, silhouetted against a soft backlight. She gets undressed in plain view. THE BOY smokes and watches. DISSOLVE TO: EXT. PARK - DAY THE BOY is still sitting on the wall. WINDOW GIRL passes by. She glances at THE BOY but does not know him. She exits his view. A SUIT sits down beside THE BOY. THE SUIT gives a look at THE BOY. THE BOY trades glances with the SUIT but does not know him. A BEAT. For an instant, THE BOY looks straight at the camera. He quickly looks away. FADE OUT.
