Janet Devlin is hugely popular with the public and will get more support and sympathy after her grandfather's unexpected death this last week. He was a great supporter of Janet, so this performance will be more meaningful for her as a tribute.

Once again Janet stamps her own soulful voice and interpreattion on this classic. I think she most definitely has won over the judges.

@nikkiiheartsmusic She has been offered several record deals. One was offered to her 35 minutes after being voted off. She is waiting until the x factor tour is over before she decides which one to accept.

@crazyhydraful Yeah she was voted out by the judges 2 weeks before the final. She came 5th. Each contestant had to do 2 songs that week and she was 1/2 way through her 1st song when she stopped singing because she almost threw up. She said afterwards she must have eaten something dodgy. Her 2nd song and her survival song were better but not enough to save her. This was her 1st time in the bottom, the other contestant had been there 2 times before. Had it gone to public vote she wouldve been safe

@TGTITU2 All those acts, including Jedward, are Syco/Sony acts, get hyped up beyond belief & have non-stop media saturation on Cowell's shows with prime time TV slots for every album or single release. 1D had non-stop Cowell backing for weak performances whereas Janet got non-stop slating for great performances. And Olly got the XF job to boost album sales.

Janet won't sign with Syco & won't be given the same privilages, so will need word of mouth by the public to build her fanbase.
