  • im trying to get mine to say hello

some days i swear i have heard them say something i get this really strange sounds like its all muffled when they know im listening the shut up

  • Take him in the shower with you. The sound of water always gets them going - and it should get used to talking into your ear!

  • wow thanx i never thought of taking them to the shower with me

  • Just make sure they have a safe (out of the water) place to perch. My shower is big, and has a vent in the ceiling. I hung a perch from the vent, using a thin piece of wire. Sven sits on my shoulder (shouting at me) until the water hits him directly ~ then he shifts to the perch.

  • Wow he has an amazing color. Very cute : )

  • Yes - I was lucky with his colours. He was quite a bland-looking chick, but now gets more and more vivid.
