From Tielman's Susato "het Sevenste Musyck boexken"(7th musicbook)
A psalm also know as "Was mein Gott will", based on a French chanson:

Il me suffit de tous mes maulx
Puis qu'ilz m'ont livré a la mort.
I'ay enduré peine et travaulx,
Tant de douleur et desconfort.
Que fault il que ie face
Pour estre_en vostre grace?
|: De douleur mon cueur si est mort
S'il ne voit vostre face. :|

  • thank you. really stunning music.

  • Be my guest!

  • Great composer. We're celebrating 500 years of his birthday this year. I once sang "Vrolick en bly loeft...", all low voices.

  • Just like de Cabezón, so that must have been a great year! You have something with Dutch, isn't it?

  • gorgeous visuals and marvelous music!

  • thanks, it is plain and honest music I think...

  • thank you. really stunning music.

  • @ernststolz that's right! Cabeçón too. I love Dutch. I recorded "Ghi sotten en de sottinekens" (without the score!) and "Als ick U vinde-Vorria Morire". I would like to get more Dutch songs, specially one.

  • be my guest

  • thank you too
