@mavericdragon your 5 year old son understands this better because he isn't yet brainwashed too much by television, school, religion, society, ... so he is much more openminded than most adults. Let us hope your boy won't get too narrow minded as he grows up and as he will be told that it is forbidden to not believe beyond reality. greets to you guys ;)

you can see the whole documentary for free on youtube people, the name is: What the bleep do we know. I loved the documentary, We can't see or hear the dimensions above but we can FEEL them. God is great. Peace to you all ;)

@Lazy0Waffle that's not true, quarks are 0D objects and they have mass. BTW, weight is a function of mass i.e your weight(F) is: F = mg. where m is your mass and g is local acceleration of free fall. So there is no "weight or mass" in your context. You can have a mass without weight, but not the other way around.

There aren't 2d creatures that we know of like the ones in this video. So how would their be 4D creatures that're watching over us ?
-
@frankie6092 I understand what you mean now, and you're right that 2D things cannot be objects. Nothing in 2 dimensions would be able to have any weight or mass, but that's only from a 3D perspective. We wouldn't have 4 dimensional attributes either, being 3D objects, but we still exist, just on a lower dimensional plane.

@Lazy0Waffle I get that. But that only means shadow exists as an attribute or property of that surface which tells us that light doesn't exist on that area. If it only indicates an attribute or a state of another existing object then it doesn't exist as another independent object but just an attribute of something else. Therefore it really doesn't exist as an objective reality but it merely describe an attribute or a state of an object. I just think it is not different from a concept.
It doesn't matter whether or not this video is accurate in describing the world of 2D. What he is trying to accomplish through this video is to show us that there is absolutely no way for us to understand or perceive a dimension that lies outside of our perspective. Instead of criticizing the fact that 2D couldn't really exist as an object, think about how the person in 4D would say the same about us, and we about him.

This is Great! All you hater and nay-sayers can move on!. How do I know this is great? My 5 year old boy just watched this and I got to see instant enlightenment and learning. That's why! So, if a 5 yr old boy can now understand better the world, Kudos to you Captian Dimensions! Soar on and teach! Now to work on getting him to clean his room.
