Nice! I am heading out to OI catwalk this weekend and am determined to get some sheepshead. Fishing has been pretty good the past few weeks.

TRY USING JUST A SALMON HOOK AND NO WEIGHT, I USED TO CATCH THEM ALOT EASIER WITHOUT THE WEIGHT MASKING THEIR NIBBLING. HAHA

You werent feeling the bite because you didnt have a tight line. Best way to feel the bite is fish straight down, IMO.

those tiny bites that you are missing could be small tog. I used to get them up to a pound on the pilings of oregon inlet along with the big sheepshead. Sometimes they were so numerous that catching a sheepshead was hard to catch...

Have you got onto any of the stripers in the ocean lately? They've been mucking them up here lately, hogs at that. Heard of several 60's this year. A ton of 40's and 50's!
