The one and only Jill is Brenda Dickson, the original. Jess is good but she never could outdo Brenda and the meanness.

Bond Gideon (1980)
Deborah Adair (1980 to 1983)
Melinda Fee (1984)
Jess Walton (June 1987 to present)
Judith Chapman (Replacement when Walton was sick for a few days.)

Deborah Adair played Jill for 3 years (1980-83).She was playing the role when I first started watching Y&R.She returned for a week in 1986. Brenda was re-negotiating her contract or something.

All three for a different reason? Lets remember there were four Jills. Brenda Dickson,Bond Gideon, Deborah Adair, and Jess Walton. Thanks for posting this it's cool to see Adair in the role. According to the e true hollywood story Adair was only on the show for a month but I heard they made many mistakes.

I don't like this Jill, she doesn't have the same emotion. My mom's favourite Jill is Jess Walton, as is mine. She's the only one IMO who can portray Jill perfectly.
