  • This group is highly underrated, but soo dope! This is one of my favorite tunes by them right here! My homeboy DJ Henray featured this song on a mixtape along with some other dope, but rare Hip Hop classics in this current decade that he did sometime ago. You can listen to the mixtape and download it for free by clicking on my channel and looking for the mixcrate link. Otherwise, I suggest for y'all to purchase The Unspoken Heard album 'cuz you'll definitely get your money's worth.

Thanks for the link to the mix, checking it out right now :-)

    The tracklist looks sweet!

And I agree on the Unspoken Heard!

  • Real hip hop music... Tight beats/dope flows...

  • @Sylvainhhc Ahh, thanks dude.

  • @Tableturn here is the sample : The Oscar Peterson Trio & The Singers Unlimited 'The Shadow Of Your Smile', "In Tune" [1973]

  • Peace to ChillWill!?!

  • This is music we all should dig....

  • @unolove1 Not sure what you mean man! Sorry! As far as I'm aware, it's that sample, but whoever did the beat has obvioussly added instrumentation over the top of the original sample, and really chopped the sample up as well.

I can only hear 1 vocal from the original sample in the Unspoken Heard track though. Am I missing something???

  • @Tableturn I just heard it, it has a similar melody but I didn't hear the melodies and harmonies of the people singing. Where in the original song are those vocals? Or did the unspoken heard add those vocals to the sample?

  • @unolove1 Without a doubt the version by Astrud Gilberto. Exactly that version was used by J Rawls for "Smile Again, ft Tavaris" which you can find here on YouTube pretty easily.

But yeah, even Astrud Gilberto performed several recordings of the same song!

  • @Tableturn I looked the song up and it was the same song by many different artists. They sampled "The Shadow of Your Smile" by which artist?
