...One more comment:
They're both great jazz pianists but too often 1 plus 1 equals less that 2. Impromptu duo piano performances are too often dull because each pianists holds back a bit rather than step on the other one's ideas, etc.. Marion McPartland's duos suffer from this more often than not. Exceptions are when the players have been doing it for years or are playing a simple blues or boogie woogie.
