I had not watched this video..... it's spectacular !
GORO treats the hawk with respect, he only watches him, and the hawk does what he has to do, without any fear of GORO.

GORO, like a brave samurai, takes his hawk out for the sport of falconry. GORO, like Mt Fuji is a timeless and awesome symbol of Japan. The picture of him with Mt Fuji in the background is a perfect symbol for this site.

Beautiful...Great photography!...I'm so glad the hawk left...GoRo alone...I once had a smaller dog...nearly carried off by hawk. Great Pictures!

Have you seen any Taka swarms in that area? I ran across one last spring and couldn't believe it; hundreds churning the sky above me, Guess they were doing a roundup for the trip your way
I believe my corgi, Mario, would have caught the bird though ^_~
