You should try this drill i learned. You try to catch a object thrown at you, but it has to pose a real threat. The real threat (serious bodily injusy) should be non lethal but very painful. The reason is you adrenline starts pumping (makes your muscles stonger/bigger). I had amazing results with a shot putt and a blunted javelin thrown at me full speed. If i remember correctly i gained 2 pounds of muscle that week. You should try it!

This is really, really good for you. Just the other day I was walking home when suddenly, I found myself over a large, air filler rubber ball, and a wooded board on my head.
If it wasnt for this training, who knows what would have happened.

Core Stability but it affects alot of different everyday activities and sports like snowboarding are now at a new level for me. WOW, I love it!

Balance is more effectively trained during unilateral exercises on stable surfaces. There was also a study done where they slightly unbalanced the bottom portion of a snatch, and they had incredible results with the athletes trying to re-stabilize themselves (it was very controlled, obviously, because otherwise it would have been way too dangerous).
