Test of upgraded Parkzone Corsair to E-Filte brushless motor Power 10 and 40-amp ESC V2.

Other than having to ream the hole of the propeller, the motor swap was straight forward.

  • When you install the Power 10, does it require any motor mount modifications?

  • @PurfictInglesh hi, it did not required any modification. this is why i chose the Power 10. because i wanted something more robust than the stock motor and i wanted it as a drop in replacement. you do have to get a more powerful ESC though.

  • You didn't let it rip???? I was debating on doing the power 10 upgrade and a CC45 ESC, but can't justify spending the money now. I have a 4s thunder power in mine and it rips with the stock setup. Have over 10 flights with no problems...

  • i can't let it rip... the plane was not tied down... it was a simple sound comparison because the stock motor developed a rattling sound...

  • great set up the power 10 is great power were i live i had to cut on the cowl to let more air in to keep cool but not much i have found the stock motor mount will brake easy in the cold 2 thats wild when your full power and the motor comes lose lol i have the t-28 to both power 10s and 40 v2 esc run 3 cell 2200 30 more power then you need

  • then just hold the fuselage or have someone else do it for you

  • how does it fly with the power 10? I currently own the parkzone radian and want another plane but when I flew the corsair it was fun but I wanted that little bit of extra speed out of it.

  • i know you're enjoying this plane now... i put a power 10 in mine too and it is amazing... i love it...

  • it means the receiver has lost power and reconnected again without the transmitter being power cycled...

  • no problem, ya grab one or two anyways at that price. make sure you charge them less than their suggested too. 2200 charge at 2amps or less, will get more cycles out of them, especially good batteries, and monitor cheaper batteries, especially when charging them in your house..ugh-ly Got a safe charging place? Cool about the Corsair, make sure you have someone that can tune gas cuz I can't worth shyte lol
