Carolina Panthers 2012 Preview: Can Cam Newton Guide Team Through Brutal Road Slate in Year Two?

After an unequivocally successful first year of the Cam Newton and Ron Rivera era, optimism is flowing amongst the Panthers fan base. But with a brutal schedule on tap in 2012 -- namely road games at Chicago, Philly, San Diego and New Orleans -- it might be a challenge for Carolina to take the next big step in the win column. James Dator of Cat Scratch Reader wouldn't necessarily agree, as he thinks the Panthers will start strong and at least match last year's win total before embarking ont he brutal second half of the schedule.
