More than 4000 views - thank you everyone :)

This is my first foray into rap :)

I love this song and decided, for no good reason, to record a little version of it. I've not listened back to it yet so if it's embarrassing... well, all the better.

  • what guitar is that ?

  • @cloud9tunes oh wow I can't believe I never replied to this - sorry! It's an Ibanez Inter City Talman electro acoustic. Got it second hand a few years ago :)

  • Hey man what are the chords you use?!

  • @attikey

Hi there - sure, the chords are (frets given from low E to high E):

    Bb (6887xx)

    Eb7 (x687xx)

    Dm (x5776x)

    Simple as that! Enjoy.

  • Dude, really nice job. I do this one too but I have to have a little backing, use one of those LINE 6 Spider Jam where you can record tracks over each other. THanks for the chords.

  • @haazy34 Thanks - glad you like it. I've got a loop pedal now, but didn't when I recorded this one - see my cover of Primitive (The Way I Treat You) by Ambulance Ltd to see it in use if you like :) thanks for watching!

  • awesome!

  • nice work brother :)

  • @ruckbogers the second chord is a Ebmaj7 actual. Easiest way to play the song:

    Capo 1st fret

    A (x02220), Asus4 (x02230), Dmaj7 (xx0222) and C#m (x46654)

  • Excellent job, hard song to cover but you definitely nailed it!

  • psyched to see all the positive reviews which is how it should be, def a good job i wouldn't expect an acoustic cover to be up to this par, but then again i'm close minded and usually end up suprised at a lot of acoustics. bravo and cheers (if your into that sort of thing)

  • Really nice job dude! I'll try the chords in the 'noon thanks!

  • Great job, not as easy as it sounds to nail the rythm and vocals. spot on!

  • not bad hard song...
