Demis phone started ringing Skater Boy by Avril Lavigne, it was so funny, because the blonde and Nicky started laughing, Nicks brother didnt, I think he likes her, aw. She told me about a shoe sale, wait a country girl likes to shop for shoes? I was so confused, but before I knew, she tugged my arm and dragged me out of the house, I didnt even get to say goodbye, we started running, wow this girl is so fast, how does she do it? Every now and again I had to stop, but I had to keep going otherwise I would get lost in this country place, we finally got to the mall, I think that was the furthest Ive ever ran! We got to the shoe shop, the sale was over, I was a bit sad, but I turned around and saw my blonde headed friend, my eyes went wide, wow I guess I was shocked to see her, Demi came over and invited her round to her house, they became friends on our way home, Demis mom drove us, I found out that Emily lived a few blocks away from us, great that means I can see her! We got home, it was actually 7:30pm, so we had dinner, then Emily left and Demi and I went to sleep, we slept in the same room, but obviously in different beds. After about an hour, I was still awake, I looked at Demi, she was sound asleep, I walked over to the window and opened it, the air was so warm, like a fire, but it was really dark, I looked at the time 11:42pm, wow, why cant I go to sleep? It took me 10 minutes to realize that I needed my mom and dad, oh how I miss them, urgh, dont you just hate war? I looked up and saw a handle connected to the roof, I remember when my parents and I would always sit on the roof, telling stories on a Saturday night, I climbed out of the window and quickly held onto the bar, I pulled myself up, placing my foot on the top of the window, I sat on the edge of the roof (authors note: like in the Hannah Montana episode with the Jonas Brothers) I just thought of my parents and friends back in L.A. Ashley, Vanessa, Mandy, Mitchel, Jason, Zac, Monique, Lucas. They could be anywhere in the world......or dead. Seriously, did the war have to happen when Im 15, well Im going to be 16 in a month. I kept thinking until I heard a crunch, I quickly looked to my left and saw Nick, I instantly smiled.
Joes POV
They climbed over and the girl with awesome hair gave me the ball, I couldnt help but smile. Maybe I should make up a nickname for this girl...like....Gorgeous. Cody then asked if they wanted to come in and watch a film with us, they said yes, so we all went in, but before we did, Cody smiled at Miley and she smiled back, I looked at Nick, he saw it as well, I could he was getting jealous, because......well you cant really tell that hes jealous, you just know. Suddenly Skater Boy started playing, it was coming from Gorgeous, she blushed so much, Nick and Cody started laughing, but tried to contain themselves, I just looked at Gorgeous when she was talking on the phone, she was so cute, suddenly she grabbed Nicks girl hand and ran to door and left. I frowned I really wanted to know her name, Codys dad came home, we ate dinner, roast chicken with gravy mmm, I ate it all up, Nick had all the lean on the chicken, he says that 6-packs are so out and 8-packs are in, so hes on this weird diet, do boys go on diets? After we ate, we watched Gossip Girl, I dont know why though, but it looked like a chick flick so Nick and I went to bed, after another hour, I closed my eyes and dreamt about Gorgeous, thats what got me to sleep.
