My Little Pony Commercial Drink N Wet Babies from 1989. I actually own the pink giant Sweetheart Sister pony on the carousel at the beginning of the commercial, and after finding out what it was used for I managed to track down a copy of one of the commercials it was used in.

@6fabulous1 I don't think most of the MLPs of that time were ridiculous at all, a lot where really well designed actually, although I'm not big on a lot of the 90s type. What exactly makes the current ponies less ridiculous to you now?

There's only like a 6 day span in which little girls actually play with MLP. Give or take a year or two. After that they label it "babyish" and move on to getting their ears and tongues pierced.

@LaChatteGrise HI I know,I agree. I am fine if people are gay I think it`s natural and people are what they are but just because you like My Little pony don`t make you gay. I think My Little pony is for boys and girls so it bugs how the adverts just show girls playing with them. I had My Little pony toys as a kid and also I had he-man,care bears,She-ra,Thundercats and lots of other toys. I am 28 now and still love and collect My Little pony

@Pruefan26 It still happens nowadays, it´s so sad we haven´t evolved much... I feel lucky my parents didn´t see toys meant for boys or girls in particular, they were just toys and we were both kids, so both my brother and I had little ponies (and Masters of the Universe, and GI joes, and any other toys we could get, came in pairs :) ) and for the cavemen out there: NO, it didn´t make us gay or weird in any way, just in your little cavemen eyes :)
