Jerry Ferro, who quit boxing so that he wouldn't risk his record of underachievement, was asked by a boxing coach to appear in a boxing match with an up and coming pro, Malice Blake. Although Jerry reluctantly steps into the ring, a one punch knockdown of Blake convinces Jerry that it's time that he must return to competitive boxing with a quest for Olympic gold.
