Rayfire 1.55 Tutorial - Create your First Dynamic Simulation!

Have you just downloaded Rayfire for 3D Studio max and don't know how to start? Then look no further, this tutorial will help you through the stages of creating your first basic dynamic simulation where we will learn how to interactively fragment an object as it falls to the ground creating a realistic break.

For this Tutorial you will need:
- Rayfire (I am using V1.55 in this tutorial but older versions still use same principles)

- 3D Studio Max 2008-2011.

i have a question when i go to my rayfire in the physics tab the play and pause button is not working. it should be lit up but its not... idk what to do im using 1.55 and 3ds max 2011. can you please help me... thanks

@bigboss20001 Sure, I might not be able to help but I think the problem might be that you don't have the required physx plugin you need physx 2.0 something (i dont know for sure) in order for it to work.

hi nice vid!!!! i have a problem i did exatly what u did in the vid and when i click on the start the boxes just move pass the plane !!!! i tried several times and still !!! and one time i got luck and they didnt pass it but they stopped befor reaching it (if u put the view from the side u will see that they are falling but they hit an area above the plane and the shadows are like far on the plane!!!) need help?!
