I saw Les Paul on TV in the 70s
With Dwanye EDDY.
And he was basically saying, He invented JAZZ & Black Artist copied Him!
He's got a few yrs on me, but I found this claim incredulous!
Because he doesn't go back to Africa!
The Lingo he's attempting here was nor indigenous to Whites!
And no individual in history could ever lay claim to a whole class of music!
The music came from the Peoples, The Times, the Neighborhoods!
It seems nobody believed it but him!

Wow, REAL music played by great musicians. You can't find that anymore. RIP, Lester. I will miss you, my friend.

Les Paul RIP!
And, let's all be thankful for Marlon Brando, it was his genius that made this style of bad acting obsolete.

I can always hear Django Reinhardt in Les Paul's playing - and perhaps some Barney Kessel.
