Japan's insatiable appetite for tribute bands is fuelling a growing entertainment industry. By day, Koki Oyori is a dour office worker. But come night-time, he squeezes into a rhinestone jumpsuit and hits the town as an Elvis impersonator. There are thousands of professional tribute groups in the country and aspiring crooners can attend foreign singing classes to brush up their skills.

  • I'm not big on impersonators, but the Beatles band was pretty good. Impersonators are fun to watch though, which is if they are good.

  • Enka is very traditional music to the Japanese, and what she's saying is that whereas they have Enka as their tradition, which is slow, and quite boring, the English speaking countries' traditional music is rock music. She's saying that's what she likes.

The band doing the Beatles were ace, lol. Personally though, I'd rather go and see a band who play their own songs.
