Global temperatures were higher on average last year - because of El Nino. They have since fallen sharply, and the average temperature anomaly for January is about zero. Cold weather is just that - weather, and not indicative of the long term climate, however, the same applies for warm weather as well.

you guys dont know that while the eastern half of the US was freezing December-January, Temps in the Hudson Bay were in the 30s (30 degrees above average) and Greenland temps were in the 50s (30 degrees above average). Since late January, western US and Weatern Canada have been WELL above average. And places in the southwest can reach 100 degrees in a few days. People like Rush Limbaugh are looking at cold conditions but they're looking at WEATHER!!! WEATHER IS NOT CLIMATE!!!! get it?

winter w/ 100% accuracy, based on solar weather patterns.
