  • Studying generations made me realize that studying generations is stupid. Were all the same only were young and their old. There is no difference between us at 20 when compared to them at 20. I personally am not worried about the stuff except for when I'm stopped by the cops because I quote "look like a trouble maker"

  • @HeroicNerd This clip was recorded almost 3 years ago and I think its fair to say that time has had already had an affect. The concerns and ambitions are very different to what we might hear from a class of 2011. In that sense I wouldn't necessarily cross out this line of research - it does tell us something, but I agree technology as a subject crosses all boundaries, nationality, gender, sexuality, and age. It is a personal experience, but persons also grow, learn, and change.

  • Martin, I guess you can't handle a debate with me on the subject of our Generation. You like the majority of our generation can't handle a debate that puts into questions your overinflated self worth.

  • @acousticfreeze That's quite an aggressive statement and an opinion formed from an online forum?

  • This is what I can say we are a Generation that lacks self-sufficiency. We make excuses for our childish behavior. last but not least Gen Y prefers lying over telling the truth due to the generations inflated Grandiose Self-Esteem

  • @acousticfreeze That's quite a sweeping generalisation. Send me the evidence.

  • Generation Y needs some strong leaders...I see a lot of thinkers in my generation but no one acts.

  • Give me a break!

Generation Y are the most gullible and manipulated gen in history.

the only thing that interests geny is: celebs, big brother, celebs, celeb gossip, celebs, x factor, WAGS, celebs and celebs

  • @severrnijKGU Thank you. We are forcing change and the other generations don't like it. First black president, iPod, new religious movements, a huge skepticism of authority especially government, changing media., business ecosystems, changing ways people are treated. Work is actually fun now. Get on this frequency Gen X or be left behind. Just like we threw out your good old days that probably were not that good anyway. Be in the now and keep looking toward the future.

  • @Ifuckingh8you How do you know this. I know a whole bunch of fifty year olds that that's all they care about, I am not going to make a generalization of what I see out of a couple of people. There was a guy that said Gen Y can't spell. The guy made five or six grammar mistakes in three sentences.

  • @HeroicNerd Tell Gen X that. They have no problem generalizing y by a couple people with attitude problems at the job.

  • the world is not going to deflate and end because of us. it should all work out as it has since the beginning of the concept of time. we are just a fun new and interesting flavor who sees (well i see it as) the matrix as our star wars. the iraq war is the closest relation to vietnam. We saw columbine and 9/11 all when we were addressing our teachers prefixed with miss and mister. if the corporations must change to stifle our survivalistic mercenary job hopping ways then so be it.

  • @shelivade91 BAM!

  • @acousticfreeze I'm not sure where you are looking, but all around I memorised by young people, their talents, and their energies. I wouldn't suggest however that they are any different to any generation for that, but the context is always different - technology, politics, and science, and that for me is worth thinking about?
