Nice fish McGothlette. That's my home water, looks like a million dollar day you had. We gaff bass all the time, these pinheads on here probably fish for small mouth bass in Wisconsin... the only time we net is during tournaments. Nice catch.

We were keeping and killing the fish - and didn't have a net large enough. In future, we may procure a large net in order to reduce trauma to the fish before killing it, although under those conditions, we may have lost it if we tried to net it, and I'm not sure it would make much difference to the fish.
