  • @LegendaryModsTM - MARS does not practice Fair Trade, but as of 2009 they are part of an NGO sustainability initiative (UTZ) that is committed to only 100,000 tons of UTZ certified cocoa beans/yr. They claim they have been an industry leader regarding purchase of sustainably produced cocoa for the last 30 years. In reality they make their own rules - I hope they care as much as their PR website claims they do. Twix is NOT fair trade.

  • @srikanthb92 In Haiti again, people eat little mud cakes because they are starving. If you would be a sheapeard and you would have only enough feeding ground for 100 heads of your lifestock and you would have 150 heads, would that make you a good sheapeard? Are we gonna wait till we step on each others toes before we take action? Responssible decisions have to be made to reduce the world population by limiting the births. We are gonna have to face this fact one day.

  • @srikanthb92 Well, Tell me?. Lots of countries are running out of natural resources, like food. In some places they go to fish with dinamite sticks and make-em explode to kill the fish that hide in the coral reef, and in dooing so they destroy the coral. When their is gonna be no more coral, their is gonna be no more fish. What are these people gonna have to eat? We are destroying our natural resources at an alarming rate. In Haiti all the trees are cut for heating and cooking.

  • @Bugs11000 you're a moron. People are never gonna not have kids. For a lot of poverty stricken people having kids and a lot of them is a way of trying to get out of poverty. Yeah they don't have ready access to birth control and don't make these sweeping generalizations that all of them are rejecting contraception. It also has to do with status of women in those countries. It is wrong for these companies to take advantage like that.

  • @Bugs11000 You know, the ones to blame are the people who have kids and can't even feed them properly. Would you have kids if you had a hard time feeding yourself? Of course your goona say that these people have no methods of contraception. They've been offered lots of differeny ways to birth control and they rejected it. They don't give a dam about their own kids.

  • @Bugs11000 HOW ARE YOU HELPING THEM? THEY ARE NOT GETTING PAID YOU IDIOT. AFRICA IS DEVELOPING BUT THESE BIG COMPANIES LURE THESE KIDS BY PROMISING GREAT PAY AND THEN EXPOSE THEM TO THESE CONDITIONS.

  • @2008afrolioness My friend, I sleep very well. In the early 1990s I used to say to lots of people, that if we'd continue on buying stuff from foreign countries that in return we would loose our jobs and scrap our own kids future. People told me that I was crazy. You see, most of the people don't even care about their own kids future, and they sleep very well also. Most of the people blame the 1% , but it's the 99% that buy '' Made in China''., and you to, my friend.

  • Respect ..

  • @Bugs11000 Seriously how do you sleep thinking like that ... If you don't buy the chocolate that's not fair trade they won't be slaves. Its better to die with pride than without.

  • Well, if we would'nt buy chocolate, these kids would starve to death. In a way we are helping them.
