it was a good series but IMO it was WAY too restricted. at the time, they were trying to connect it to the movie franchise so all the good villains (green goblin, dr octopus, sandman, venom) aren't in it. notice how most of the them are either second ringers or original characters?
plus it's lacking characters. norman's dead which is like having a batman series without the joker. no aunt may, betty, robbie, or liz. not even gwen was used, instead relying on indy as a romantic interest.

All you did was take a scene, then added music to it.

who is the guy in white?

@ScarredDemonX Well that makes sense, but I said that because the trivia is official!

@mp1lhs GS can stand for anything. did they actually use or say the name "Gwen Stacy"? in superman they use the initials "LL" a lot. however LL can stand for Lana Lang, Lex Luthor, Lionel Luthor, Lena Luthor, Lois Lane, Lucy Lane, Lori Lemaris, Linda Lee (Supergirl), etc. so unless they actually said Gwen Stacy then it's either a coincidence or an easter egg.

@mp1lhs the sequels hadn't been produced yet but there was a general idea on which villains were going to be used. i remember doc octopus being planned /discussed very quickly after the 1st movie was over.
that's how things work behind the screen. when nolan was making batman begins, he said he was planning on using scarecrow, ra's al ghul, joker, and two-face for his movies. that's y when the cartoon "the batman" was made those characters, aside from the joker, weren't allowed to be used.

@ScarredDemonX Just some trivia, gwen stacy was used, when Peter was chatting with some guy on an episode. I remember the screename starting with GS which stands for Gwen Stacey.

@ScarredDemonX On 2003, Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3 had not produced yet.

The MTV Spider-Man show wasn't perfect, but it had a lot going for it. I really liked spidey's look in this show. Very agile, nimble, acrobatic, graceful, and just plain spider like. 5 stars for giving this underrated gem some love.
