  • @Crumbtiny actually it wouldn't let me post the link.

anyway, just go to redeemer.com and along the top part of the site you'll see a "Learn" tab. click on that pull-down, then click on "Resources" and on the right hand side you'll see Q and A with Tim Keller.

  • @slowroll3 i was wondering the same thing. and maybe you've found it by now but here's a Q and A session i found on the website. if you scroll down it's under the "Sin" heading. i haven't listened to it yet, but it might just be a repeat of what you heard here on Youtube.

  • So so so true i mean he told the truth without adding religion to it

  • I need to repent for good also

  • @SimplySincerity

Yeah I mean I have always thought how can you keep repenting ovre and over and over again and be forgiven of the bad things or sins you have done in your life? The fact remains that God doesn't care about the sin in our lives, the the thing he REALLY CARES about is WHY we do them. The more you focus on sin in your life the more you will sin. The more you keep your focus on Christ the smaller your sinful life will become

  • This is a question that I think many Christians have to wrestle with at some point in their lives. And I love the way Tim Keller answered the question. God does not forgive us based on our ability to stop sinning or the rate of our progress, or lack thereof. God forgives us because what Jesus has done and is doing in our lives. He sees his son in us.

That isn't an excuse to keep sinning but it should bring us comfort that God can be trusted even when we fail over and over again.

  • @UMANEDAKIDD19 Your statement shows just how much you really & truly do not understand Scripture & because of that you should not call others ignorant you have no physical evidence to back up your statements just assumptions based on ignorance & ignorant people I would suggest you first get a clearer understanding before you unleashed selfish biased opinions. I pray that God opens your mind & your heart.

  • Praise God and thank you Lord for Timothy Keller.

  • :)

Thank you Timothy Keller :) u got down to the core of it

  • baabaa10000,
