Knox and Sollecito may end up joining Guede in prison. We'll have to wait until around Thanksgiving to find out their fate. He was already sentenced, because he opted for a fast-track trial.

If you're asking why Knox supporters believe she is innocent and Guede is guilty, it's because the forensic evidence against Knox and Sollecito is circumstantial and contaminated, while the evidence against Guede was properly collected and clearly indicated his guilt.

Even if Amanda Knox is guilty, convicting her with the circumstantial and contaminated evidence the prosecution has put forth would set a terrible legal precedent and basically give the Italian government carte blanche to lock up whomever they wanted whenever they wanted.

We have evidence, trials and procedures for a reason. If you can lock someone up on the basis of a forced confession and sloppy forensics, you might as well put on a Gestapo uniform and make it official.

The only reason to question a suspect for 14 hours straight without a lawyer is if you want a confession regardless of guilt or innocence. And after 14 hours of brainwashing, they charge her with giving a false confession. What professionals.

At any rate, even if you believe Amanda Knox is guilty, the point is that all the evidence is circumstantial and/or contaminated. Locking up a person because of the look in her eyes or her demanor is mob justice, and mob justice is never true justice.
