With all the recent, high-profile shootings in the news, I felt the need to oppose the calls for more gun control with a little common sense.

Today, we investigate some facts and consider case studies of armed populations versus unarmed populations. From case studies to crime rates, we establish that guns save lives, contrary to the PC myths that say the opposite.

  • You didn't take into account that these high crime areas have a higher minority population and are more densely packed together

  • @Paulpunkrocks

True, density itself isn't taken into account.

I'm not sure what minority or not has to do with anything though.

  • Nice vid man, as soon as they had gun control in south aferica home invasions went up dramatically

  • @kalevraa Yes but criminals are opportunistic and lazy. If they weren't lazy they would be out working for a living and not commiting crimes in the first place. Point is, a criminal will always take the easiest route to get money with the least amount of risk. Criminals will commit crimes towards people they know will put up the least amount of resistance. That is why woman are mugged more often than men and people not carrying guns are more likely to be assaulted. This is logic.

  • @landon460 just came back from israel. contrary to what people think, it's really hard to get a gun permit there. used to be very easy in the 70's, as logic said that this would deter terror attacks, which are quite common there. what happened that in spite of the fact that most people serve in military and are proficient with guns, number of gunshot deaths skyrocketed. there were almost NO instances where a terror act was deterred by an armed civilian, but a lot of people go shot by accident.

  • THAT'S WHY NO MATTER WHAT!! IF YOU TAKE MY LEGAL GUNS FROM ME I PERSONALLY WILL BY FULLY AUTOMATIC ILLEGAL GUNS!!!!.

  • Its weird, i never heard of those instances where a gun did good like the one in Colorado in 2007..... I think someone picks and chooses stories to publish.

  • Can it be any clearer than that? Gun control gets people killed..

  • Excellent video!

It would be better if you provided Credible source , Binhahm NY Times whatever.

Law or link to statistics , or regulations supporting the number of legally carrying per 100,000.....

I'm not saying any of this isn't credible I'm sure it is, but since you've done the research , why not share it and better facilitate the vehicle of the message.

If you get bored or have an interest see what you can find relating to Genocide where populations are NOT ARMED....

    Great Video...:)...

  • @kalevraa Nonsense, you mean to tell me that if the justice system failed to enforce laws, people will still follow them? Guess after natural disasters, wars and riots looting just becomes legal then. Egypt is the result of international pressure ,not the people's unrest. However lets take the to the PM section. Not char limits.

  • @lockdown260 laws work if a majority obeys them, and not because the justice system enforces them. if everyone decided to steal or ignore speed limits, the police could do nothing -- they are only supposed to deal with the small minority who disobey. look at egypt -- the tyranny there collapsed quickly, through civil disobedience, with no guns used. and please, stay off the purple prose: "spitting on the document". let the politicians be the ones wrapping themselves in the american flag.

  • @kalevraa It is irrational to put a pointless( and unconstitutional) law on the books. A justice system in general is necessary to keep a population in order. However when you start making laws that really only work if criminals follow them you start doing more harm than good. And when you start spitting on the document that spells out the foundations of our freedoms you invite tyranny into our government.

  • @lockdown260 it is true that there is no way we can put the toothpaste back into the tube -- guns, legal and illegal, are here to stay. there is no political will, politicians will cojones big enough, nor sufficient public mandate to change that. strict gun laws are meaningless unless they are federal laws. it's the irrational pro-gun arguments that bother me. criminal can get guns? sure. they also commit crimes. should we cancel all laws? i mean, criminals break them anyhow, so why have them?
