  • cette chanson me donne des frissons chaque fois que je l'écoute et cette voix incomparable de KHAMTEUM

  • cette voix de khamteum sanoubane est incomparable.thank you

  • Addumtum: This song was presented to the public the first time during a Lao songs contest at "Hong cinema Senglao" in Vientiane (Year?) and sung by Mr. Khamteum Sanoubane at the intermission of the contest. Mr. Liane was there to give a special prize for this song. Also, it was my own experience to swim (Aab Nam) with Phousao "Jou Xam" (which was said in the 2nd paragraph of the song). It happened in 1959 at Samneua (Muangxam) and I was only 13.

  • For your info (and for Lao new generations), this song was written/composed by "Ajan" Khamla Norkeo, one of the most famous and best Lao song writer. "Muangxam Lumm Leuuk" was created/originated by the sponsorship (Phou Oupatham) of Mr. Liane Pravongviengkham, then minister of "Kila & Youwasonh" from Samneua--in late 1960's. I had contributed to the writting the lyrics of this song because I am origin from Houaphanh Province as well.
