again, i think she had to sing in a man's range, far deeper than comfortable for her own voice - listen to her own songs where she can scream it all out without any problems (e..g Eurythmics, I need a man, but also many others...)

Annie did a great job. She did sing with feeling and conviction. That's what matters at the end of the day.

she didn´t have to sing in a man´s range, she had to sing in freddy mercury´s range, and that is, to be honest, impossible. she sure did a great job though ;)

yeah, and I'd say it brings Annie's voice down to a range where she cannot use her full vocal power - pity, but she sure gave everything she had ;-)
