He's brilliant. I do hope I can finally see a live performance one of these days.

Such style and elegance! A trip way back to the time when standards and presentation and the sheer quality of popular music and songs were infinitely higher than they are today, with is nothing more than trash in comparison. Can you imagine the graceful ballroom/dance hall scene of the 1930s/1940s and then look at what passes for the equivalent today? It's like comparing gold with plastic.
