You may have one of three things:
A valve trombone, a baritone horn, or a bass trumpet.
-
what happens if you move the slide and valves at the same time?

Wow this is like the hermaphrodite of music. Lol interesting to watch. It's like having your pie and eating too!

Is this for only jazz? I am learning trombone as my 2nd instrument baritone my 1st and I wanna know if I can go on the field and march with it (show band)

@basunfan I have a rare case. I have a valve marching trombone. It's appearance is similar to a melophone or euphonium (sorry for my horrendous spelling btw). It is made by King. It is an old horn but the noise that came out has yet to change, It sounds like a trombone. but is has no slide. please contact me if you know what instrument I'm referring to.

@arkayblesses I play trombone baritone, tuba, trumpet. basically In my marching band if you learn to play one valve you learn them all. but I never noticed the slide positons vary the same like that. And the sad thing is I learned trombone as my first instrument,
Its possible to get a very cheep copy!!!
