Im going to explain what happen. Eons ago there was an interplanetary war. Causing life in our current galaxy to be non existent. Our breed of species left us on earth and over time we adapted and evolved. We will one day find survivor planets but as of now where just trying to build a craft capable of travel to explore out in a airless, lightless, non existent particle "space highway" until reaching simular systems.
