Divorce Court: To All Our Black Brothers...A Lesson Learned

If a male is suppose to be the leader of the female, then the young male who has committed crimes has a better chance of responding to reasoning if the judge is a man rather than some woman who is playing a mother's role- who if she had picked the right man to help raise him- would not be in court!
So rather than listening to the hypocritical "mother", it's no surprise the young black men in her court preferred to go to jail rather than bow down to her terms of probation.

All I can say is "WOW"

@Mary2020VA So why not shed some light on someone else so that they do not make the same mistakes they made. She learned from what she did AND on top of that produced 3 college educated boys, work, independent, good fathers, and are not criminals.THATS an "average" man to me baby girl! Thats the problem with black folks now days, we take offense to advice we need, try to flip it and question it back from people who have walked down the same path when they are trying to help you. Learn to LISTEN!

@Mary2020VA Either way the cookie crumble, its still a black male not taking care of a child and its nothing to be proud of. And since you have questions I have one for you, what your view of an "average" man? Because an irresponsible man isn't "average" if you ask me (and think before you respond this time baby girl) Also whats the point of asking my mother about MY advice that SHE gave me? Speaking of my mother she also say "An error doesn't become a mistake, if you dont refuse to correct it".
-
@Blakmajik78 Did you give your mom that advice? You mentioned that your father wasn't around, so based on your logic, she chose a deadbeat thug right?
-
@Blakmajik78 In truth, it's not only the 'thugs' that are abandoning their children, it's also the 'average' black guy, as well. The majority of black American males are raised in a single parent household. These 'boys' know nothing about manhood, and therefore they are prone to repeat the cycle, whether they are thugs or not...

@Nelly305ful Yeah bro, let do this thang!!!
We gotta be the example for the whole community!!!

@southboy99 I know more educated, career minded black women than hoodrats so you're completely false by claiming that most black women want a thug. But living in a military town, I'm also aware that military men go looking for women mostly at clubs, bars, and beaches then cry and whine that they can't find a good woman.

@barber747 You need to re-read what I posted....Once you do that, then you will understand where I am coming from.
-
@southboy99 I wish you wouldnt generalize though. Would it be fair to say the majority of black men are thugs? No its just as stupid. I would also like to add that just because someone doesnt like YOU doesnt mean the alternative is that they like thugs or someone who is LESS THAN YOU, in your eyes!
Well I aint one of those black men im in college lol

@AllPro777 Your message definitely deserves a "thumbs up". This is the way America view the Black male that is doing the right thin in today's society (corny and soft). The thug mentality is glorified and it's a shame the Black woman is attracted to it and then they wonder why there are no good Black men, then have an attitude about it. Newsflash ladies....you're looking for the wrong type and bypassing the good ones.
