in the same tour, in Italy, in the band was David Freiberg too. Diana Mangano on vocals, slick Aguilar lead guitar, Prairie Prince drums and Chris Smith Keyboards. Unaspectable nice concert!

Oh, and many bands REFUSED to go on until they had cash in hand.
You have to remember the artists can sing and preach whatever they want to seem good, it's just music.
It's a sad truth for me as I thoroughly enjoy much of the music from the 50s-60.

Woodstock was just a concept brought to some gentlemen who posted an advert in the New York Times for a money making plan using "Unlimited Capital." Michael Lang approached them and wah-lah. Woodstock. The tickets were $100 in todays money & the intention was to sell them for around $200 at the gates. The artists generally went on for $15,000 (69 currency and Lang's limit) except Hendix, who was around $30,000 which Jefferson Airplane also tried to demand when they heard

not sure what a hero is- musicians/writers are important though and give us great pleasure-
I just read articles by both of the gentlemen you listed- deep stuff/can't say i agree with all of it,but a lot of it makes sense to me

Marty is still a member of Jefferson Starship.
At this Europe tour in 2005 he wasn't there for private reasons.
