Us has been selling planes all over the world for the last 70 years, so what if now they have to share and buy from other country!??? Boeing planes are built all over the world not just in the U.S.A. Northrop Grumman won the contract based upon superiority of product! Northrop Grumman won on 4 out of 5 criteria as determined by the Air Force. If the Air Force were to reverse this CONTRACT with Northrop Grumman, it will send a horrible message to the world about the way that America does business. We already have a bad standing in the world, according to politicians, breaching contracts will not help our standing in the world.

It's funny that while Boeing was favourite to win they were full of praise for the competition.

"We continue to have confidence that the Air Force is going to continue a fair and open competition" said Boeing vice president Mark McGraw.

Also Sen Patty Murray, D-Wash, stated, "I'm proud that the process for selecting a company to supply these tankers has been a truly open one."

Now they've lost it was suddenly the most unfair, corrupt, badly run competition ever!

cmatos2007. Who told you that? You obviously haven't spoken to 'Everyone who builds or designs planes for either company', so why claim they've all admitted something?

They're both approved by the same industry standards (FAR 21 and EASA 21) so why would there be any difference in quality? I doubt you have anything to substantiate your claims.

EADS Does NOT do better work. Its an industry standard that Airbus builds products faster but less with less quality. Boeing is known for taking too long, but producing better products. Everyone who builds or designs planes for either company admits this.
