i'm attracted with the Pranhu's imagination.

they say the far-eastern Gagakus got much

influences from the ancient persian music.

but i personaly feel they have some relations

with the musics of indochina and indonesia.

today's gagakus are just some parts.

if gongs were played, it could have been more comfortble. so.. when and why the gongs and vertical harp were excluded...

People .. you must believe that ..These type of music used to play in Tang court music. however, there will be more string instruments included vertical harp (konghou), gongs etc.. and I'm pretty sure.. it could have softer sound.

it's called Shô (笙) or Hôo-Shô (Phoenix-Shô 鳳笙), a Mouth-organ, related to the Chinese shēng...Phoenix, because the reeds are assembled to resemble the wings of a phoenix.

It is said to symbolize the heavenly lights, whereas Ryûteki (flute) the dragons and Hichiriki (oboe) humanity

What is the instrument that sounds like a harmonica or bagpipes? It's constant, and always present in the bagpipe.
