I wish I was deaf :l I wanna be accepted into the deaf community more...

My ASL teacher said Deaf boys don't like hearing girls sometimes cause the hearing girls try to translate and don't let the deaf communicate for themselves..

@EmoPrincess42596 Hello, erm in the uk hearing and deaf communities are more accepting to the hearing community, yes, i think i'd rarther marry a deaf person but if i found a hearing person as accepting as you and also who understood so well i would marry them :D xx

You have amazing speech. That must have been so difficult to achieve. I wish sign language would be taught to hearing and deaf children at a young age, that way there are no barriers between the two.

Cause I feel isolated not being able to be accepted very well by the deaf community.

I've heard stories of some deaf not even trying to talk to hearing JUST because they're hearing.. It scares me..

My boyfriend is deaf and i never really knew how he felt until one day he just told me everything and what it was life, and we both cried alot, because we didnt really talk about it much before that.. but he like being treated like everyone else, but alot of the time you have to repeat things or spell them out letter by letter, and use alot of hand movements, and he doesn't know whet you're saying if you're not facing him, but we've both accepted it, and he has plenty of friends, & i love him.
