Great to hear, and kudos for your efforts.
I was a volunteer in New Hampshire for Operation: Live Free or Die, and one tip I took away was that weekends are critical for canvassing since most people are home, as opposed to weekdays. Having fun is terribly important, but try to hit those doors as much as possible on weekends.

Agree 100% - Don't worry, we are doing the precinct captain/get out the vote stuff as well! Every Saturday, however, we pick a major intersection - rain, sleet, snow or 'shine -and have some fun.

What you guys are doing is great. I did a lot of sign waving and slim-jim handouts in past months, but what you should really be focusing on is canvassing and get-out-the-vote. Go to Ron Paul's website and sign up to be a precinct captain today, or all the sign waves in the world won't make a difference.

Its okay, we do these every weekend at some major intersection in the city or downtown. Thanks for volunteering on the S.Side. As a n-sider, I'm afraid the Sox fans may be too dumb or connected to Daley to understand the dr.'s message :) Just kidding of course - RP '08
