@msfattytroll In fact, the 500kV one will more efficiently deliver the charge to the core of the body(I could ramble on about the physics of it, but I know nobody will listen, if you want an explanation - PM me) and therefore would stun the target quicker. This can also be dangerous as when used too close to the heart it may indeed deliver a fatal shock, but the chances of that are normally quite remote.

These are not as devastating as they seem, especially in quick short bursts. If you know its gonna happen, just relax and its not that bad. Now if you are all tense and fighting it or not expecting it or the person keeps it on you for more than a few seconds thats when it might knock you on your ass.
These are not like real tazers that police use.
