It doesn't read because the psp's firmware is coded to read one memory stick at a time (thats why it only has 1 memory stick slot) to get it to work you would probably need to make a program that writes a file to the firmware to read 2 mem sticks at the same time.

did you try formatting both memory cards at the sametimee while they are attached so they technically read as 1 ?
