@zsimon21 So mariano was entirely responsible for winning his world series? Bullshit. He's on one of the most overly wealthy teams in baseball that just buys up sluggers. Mariano is just an above average pitcher in a role where most as just shitty starters.

Trevor Hoffman? Best all time? How many World Series rings does he have? What did he do in his only World Series apearance? Blow a fucking save is what. Mariano passed him in career saves has a lower whip at 1.00 career .94 this year, and became the first player over 40 with over 40 saves. Check the game tape homie. Mariano Rivera; best all time. He is top 5 MAYBE top 3 but #1? Not by a long shot.
