Lentils, The birth of beans! This video shows the germination and growth of a few lentils. The bulk of the clip was taken at 1 frame every 15 minutes, there is reduced light during the night periods of time. Total time was about 2 weeks

  • Light used on the project, I used some form of artificial 24 hours a day. High intensity during the daytime hours and then a low wattage LED light at night to give a little illumination during the night. I wanted to use some natural light from a window to make sure that the lentils would move around as much as possible as they attempted to follow the directional light as it was available.
