An interesting perspective on global warming is presented. The fact that a religious figure was able to foresee climatic events to come makes me speechless.

Much as I appreciate the sentiments to my understanding, the fire of the love of god is not a physical fire, souls that bear fruit are not physical trees and a divine rose garden is not a physical place that we can visit. I love the north and its peoples for all kinds of reasons, it has a sacred beauty all its own, but I do not think this tablet refers to climate change and like most of Abdul-Baha's words he uses universally accessible metaphors to convey his message

It wouldn't be good if all the ice melts - not for us and certainly not for greenlanders...
Please search bahai in Google to find out more about the Baha'i Faith.

To find the book containing the tablet with the prophecy, please go to the Baha'i Reference library on the internet. Then, under authors, please select 'Abdu'l-Baha and select his book: Tablets of the Divine Plan. After that, you will see that the prophecy is in the 5th tablet compiled in that book.

For those who want to know more about the prophecy, it was in a tablet revealed on April 5, 1916, in the garden adjacent to the Shrine of Bahá’u’lláh, and addressed to the Bahá’ís of Canada—Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, Mackenzie, Keewatin, Ungava, Franklin Islands—and Greenland.
