@en0x86 My comment was on the desktop incarnations of Linux OSs which aren't as functional and useful to the user on a client machine as other desktop OSs like OSX and Windows systems. They have a lot to improve in terms of user friendliness, design and convenience for desktop usage. On desktop platform the user cares about productivity, standards, warranty and so on and not about the core of the OS.

For servers and networking it's a miracle to have such a free solution.

@rmaucigasha Are you serous? Agreed that there are plenty of idiots using Linux and do just fine, but to say that UNIX based OS lack engineering or poorly designed is a true comment of ignorance. From the network stack to the memory manager Linux is much better designed, implemented and documented. The strength of Linux is its ability to be formed into the users needs. If windows fits your needs then use it. don't trash us Linux users just because you dont understand its purpose.

@MrTabby5000 you're not smart just because you use linux. And most people don't have all day to write 99999 commands in Terminal to achieve something that could've been done by a few clicks. This is because of the lack of the engineering in most Linux-based systems. It's a pain in the ass for desktop and not functional at all compared to Windows and OSX. Don't blame the user if the OS is shit, man. Better use it for server operation only. That way it's useful.
